Local Genie app for iPhone and iPad

How many times have you needed to access your local young person’s service but you weren’t sure where to search? Or you may have searched on your local council website but found it confusing and time consuming? Well now you can find it all through Local Genie! The app allows you to find a range of young person’s services whether it’s a youth club, drug and alcohol service, counselling or sexual health clinic, Local Genie lets you know where they are. The app provides you with information on a range of services and includes opening hours, contact details and service criteria. It is really simple and easy to use and within 3 clicks, you can find what you’re looking for!

The application uses the built in GPS location of your phone to pinpoint where your nearest service is and it will then direct you to your destination. This app requires an active data connection to ensure services are accurately pinpointed. Please ensure you have the bill payer’s permission before downloading Local Genie.

Please note that in order to maintain confidentiality, we do not allow searches to be saved. This ensures that Local Genie does not collate any personal details whilst you are using the app and therefore complies with all UK Confidentiality and Information Governance guidelines.
